Community Service
Community Service at Newaygo High School is defined as:
Activities or service you would do for a person or organization (It may not be for a relative) and not receive a benefit for.
1. Please print and use the Community service document to keep track of your volunteer activities!
2. Remember to get a signature from the person that witnesses or organizes the service that you participate in.
3. Before you turn the form in, get your parent’s signature and yours!
You may turn this form in after every event or fill up the sheet and turn it in then. Community Service is documented from the Freshman year through May of the Senior year. Certificates are presented during the Senior Assembly prior to graduation.

College & Military Visits
Seniors need to get a green college visit form at least one week prior to their scheduled visit day! Get all signatures needed from teachers and parents, and then return to Mrs. Ruthven in Career Development. Then while visiting the school or military rep, get them to fill out the "proof" form and return that to the attendance secretary when you return to NHS. All seniors are allowed 2 college/military visit days
