What is the Councils Agenda? The Student Council entirely organizes Homecoming. They also help the community by teaming up with the Red Cross to hold two annual Blood Drives. Some other great things the Council does for the community is host Food Drives, and they also adopt a family for Christmas (Specific details below). The Council also awards scholarships to two or three Seniors who have demenstrated great leadership in there school and the community. The Council plays an important role in it's service to the school and the local community.

- Give presentation to Jr. and Sr. classes promoting the Drives
- Arrive to school at 6:00 a.m. to set the Gym up
- Run the sign-in and operate the canteen
- Tar down the Gym

- Run the Penny Prince and Princes voting (vote using pennies)
- Count the votes/money and announce winners
- Decide on Spirit Week days

Member Roles: President: Run their meetings, Student Council President runs monthly meetings of the Council while Class Presidents would run class meetings -Lead discussion and draws group to decisions when decisions need to be made -attend all monthly meetings of the Student Council, held typically on the first Wednesday of the month after school for about 1 hour
Vice President: Run the meetings in the absence of the President -oversees all committees -attends all monthly meeting of the Student Council, typically held on the first Wednesday of the month after school for about 1 hour
Secretary: Records the minutes (notes) from meetings -types the minutes of the meeting and presents them to the advisor within one week of the past meeting - distributes the minutes to all members at next meeting - attends all monthly meetings of the Student Council, typically held on the first Wednesday of the month after school for about 1 hour
Treasurer: Handles the record keeping of the money for the Student Council or their Class - SC treasurer provides a written monthly report of the finances of the SC - attends all monthly meetings of the Student Council, typically held on the first Wednesday of the month after school for about 1 hour
Class Representative: Attends all monthly meetings of the Student Council, typically held on the first Wednesday of the month after school for about 1 hour - attends all meetings of the Student Council that occur during the month.
